A graduate of the Hartford Ballet, Ms. Errica served on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Dance Alliance as Vice President of Member Services.
Ms. Errica is a member of the Waterbury Arts Round Table and was an artist in residence at Rotella Interdistrict Arts Magnet School in Waterbury where she was instrumental in the integration of dance into the curriculum.
She has served as a coordinator for the Connecticut Dance Festival and continues to be a vital force in the promotion of the Arts in Connecticut.
Faculty
Lorraine Shupe: Ballet
Ms. Shupe studied ballet in New York City and was a principal dancer with the Westchester Dance Ensemble and the Poughkeepsie Ballet Theater. She has been an instructor at the Woodbury Academy for the past 17 years.
Bryan Lewis: Ballet
Mr. Lewis studied at the Froman School of Ballet and the New York Conservatory of Dance. He was a soloist with the Frankfort Ballet and the Munich Ballet in Europe. He was also a principal dancer with the Fairfield County Ballet, Pioneer Valley Ballet, and the Connecticut Repertory Dance Ensemble.
Debbie Schod: Children’s Program
Ms. Shod trained with various artists from New York to Los Angeles. She also taught for six years at the Galipeau School of Dance in Massachusetts. In addition, she ran her own dance program “Dancing with Debbie” in Trumbull, CT. She specializes in early childhood dance education and helps instill the love of dance in her young students.
Linda Deleo: Ballet Variation
Ms. Deleo performed as the principal dancer at the Pennsylvania Dance Theater and the Festival Ballet of Rhode Island. She was also the lead in numerous productions including “Nutcracker Ballet,” “Giselle,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “Swan Lake.”
George Ziminski: Ballroom
Mr. Ziminski is a professional, certified ballroom dance instructor. He was the 1997 USISTD Theater Arts Champion. He performed with the Albano Ballet, Footnotes, Co-N-Tempo and is also a member of the Woodbury Ballet Company.
